Schedule/Hours:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week
- On-call required 1-2 nights per week
- Weekend coverage required every 4-6 weeks
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active California RN license required at time of submission (no pending license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- At least 1 year of recent experience in ICU, ER, or PACU
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong references from a supervisory level or higher are required with application
- Open to first time travelers seeking new experiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
- Conduct patient recovery for a range of interventions including cardiac caths, PCI, PFO closure, CTOs, and electrophysiology procedures (pacemakers, BiV, AICD, Cryo)
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensuring safety and rapid response to clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and efficient workflow
- Adhere to all clinical and safety protocols to maintain a safe care environment
