Job Description

Bring your advanced clinical skills to a dynamic Electrophysiology and Cath Lab environment as you take on a contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while providing exceptional care to patients undergoing a range of cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule:

  • 6:30 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience in cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology procedures
  • Required expertise in LHC-PCI and Structural Heart (ASD/PFO)
  • Strong familiarity with equipment such as GE X-ray and IVUS/FFR (Phillips)
  • Previous experience using the Meditech EMR system
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in Electrophysiology (EP) is highly valued
  • Experience performing TAVR, EP Study Ablation is a plus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab and EP Lab settings
  • Support the procedural team during interventions including LHC/PCI, TAVR, ASD/PFO closures, and ablations
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergent situations
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of specialized cardiovascular equipment
  • Accurately document patient care and procedural details in the Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to promote optimal patient outcomes
