As a Registered Nurse serving in the Cath Lab, you will gain exposure to progressive cardiac care methods, collaborate with experienced teams, and participate in various leadership and clinical education practices. Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 am 5:30 pm)
  • On-call requirement: 8-10 days per month (including 1-2 weekends/month)
  • No floating between locations

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current Cath Lab nursing skills and acute clinical knowledge
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and age-appropriate Cath Lab nursing care
  • Obtain initial patient assessments, monitor clinical progress, and modify care plans as needed
  • Execute Point of Care testing and document timely interventions
  • Participate in patient/family education and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure comprehensive, quality patient care
  • Mentor new staff and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
