This travel nurse role focuses on providing pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Youll play a key part in enhancing patient outcomes while collaborating with a highly skilled cardiac team. Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment; flexible scheduling may be available

Core Responsibilities:

• Complete pre-procedure assessments for cardiac cath and electrophysiology patients
• Manage vascular access and device implant sites (radial, femoral, IJ, device pockets)
• Administer medications during procedures as directed
• Assist with cardioversions and monitor vital signs/ECGs for changes
• Deliver informative discharge education to patients post-procedure
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state eligibility required)
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab or critical care environment preferred
• Excellent IV/vascular access skills
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Effective communicator with both patients and healthcare professionals
