As a travel nurse specializing in the Cath Lab, youll sharpen your skills alongside professionals who bring a range of backgrounds and approaches to cardiac care. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm
- Call rotation every third week
- Every third weekend required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Iowa
- Proven experience in cath lab or cardiovascular nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Adaptability in high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environments
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver exceptional pre-, intra-, and post-procedural patient care in the Cath Lab
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures
- Monitor patients for vital changes, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Educate patients and families on procedures, care plans, and recovery steps
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility protocols
