This 13-week contract allows you to work within high-acuity Cath and EP Labs, rotating between several major campuses, building adaptability and deepening your skillset. Each shift brings fresh challenges and the chance to collaborate with respected practitioners, ensuring an environment of continual growth and meaningful professional development.

Schedule / Hours:

  • 40-hour weeks, (4 x 10-hour shifts) Monday through Friday
  • On-call: Approximately 1014 days per 6-week period, including 2 weekend shifts; holiday coverage possible
  • Variable start times, with late-day coverage as procedures require

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas RN license
  • BLS from American Heart Association
  • Minimum 3 years Cath Lab RN experience
  • EP Lab training, including hemodynamics and studies
  • Competency as circulator, monitor, scrub, and recovery nurse
  • Proficiency in cardiac rhythms, waveforms, and responding to abnormal findings
  • Familiarity with EPIC preferred
  • Preferred certifications (CVRNII, CCRN, RCIS, RCESE) are highly valued
  • Willingness to float between Galveston, League City, or Clear Lake campuses based on departmental needs

Responsibilities:

  • Function as an essential team member in complex Cath/EP procedures, including recovery
  • Operate advanced cardiac equipment: IABP, Impella, and EP Ablation
  • Safely manage routine radiation exposure and utilize lead shielding for extended periods
  • Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergent cardiac findings and evolving patient needs
