In this Cath Lab RN travel position, youll collaborate in a fast-paced environment and work with a seasoned interdisciplinary team. Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum of two years of recent Cath Lab experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong IV and cardiac monitoring skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity environment
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Cath Lab patients throughout all procedural phases
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other cardiac procedures
- Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural details accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-procedure care
- Collaborate effectively with the Cath Lab team to maintain patient safety and positive outcomes
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
