Job Description

Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Cath Lab RN, where your expertise will be essential to a dynamic care team in a high-acuity environment. This contract opportunity is structured as 3x12 hour day shifts each week, perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced cardiac unit and are ready for a schedule that offers flexibility.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour day shifts each week
  • 1-2 on-call nights per week
  • One weekend every 4-6 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
  • At least 1 year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • Ability to provide updated supervisory or higher professional references at submission

Responsibilities:

  • Support cardiac catheterizations and a variety of advanced interventional procedures, including recovery of cardiac caths, PCIs, PFO, CTOs, as well as EP procedures such as pacemaker, BiV, AICD, and Cryo
  • Deliver critical nursing care during and after cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to maintain best practices and seamless patient transitions
  • Maintain readiness for assigned on-call shifts and periodic weekend coverage
