This travel nursing assignment in a dynamic Cath Lab setting promises to enhance your professional growth. You'll collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, encountering diverse workplace practices and leadership techniques that will expand your clinical expertise and enrich your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 38 hours per week
- On-call rotation: typically one night weekly and every 4th5th weekend (includes nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient status and provide specialized nursing care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and safety standards
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other team members
- Respond effectively to emergencies, demonstrating rapid assessment and intervention skills
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused care environment
