Key Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment abilities and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians, technologists, and patients
- Adaptive and resourceful, able to thrive in changing clinical environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures, administer conscious sedation as appropriate
- Circulate and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
- Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures
- Facilitate post-procedure care and patient education
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety guidelines, and best practices
