Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring, sedation protocols, and interventional cardiology procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Manage and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care and procedural details
- Support quality and safety initiatives within the department
