An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. This contract position requires expertise in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting with a variety of cardiac procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and providing comprehensive support to physician-led teams.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1 weekend per month (call coverage from end of Friday shift to 0730 Monday)
- Weekday call: 4-5 days per pay period (call from end of shift to 0730 Mon-Friday based on scheduled call)
- Weekend call is counted within your total monthly call days
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Previous Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and related patient care
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during on-call hours and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment
- Respond promptly to emergencies and demonstrate critical decision-making skills
- Perform post-procedure assessments and documentation according to best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations as outlined above

$2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
