Job Description

Step into a dynamic clinical environment and provide essential care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Utilize your nursing expertise in the Cath Lab to support diagnostic and interventional cases, working closely with a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Recent clinical experience in a Cath Lab setting required
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
  • Proficient in managing cardiac monitors, specialized equipment, and emergency protocols
  • Exceptional communication and assessment skills
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes situations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Administer medications and IV therapy according to protocols and physician orders
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and procedure outcomes
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families about procedures and post-care
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control guidelines
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies within the Cath Lab

Schedule:

  • Contract-based assignment with defined shift and rotation structure (details provided during interview process)
