Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week travel assignment, with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, MondayFriday
- Call required approximately 1014 days within a 6-week period, including 2 weekend shifts
- Potential to float between campuses in Galveston, League City, or Clear Lake
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage duties in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab, including circulator, monitor, scrub, and recovery roles
- Perform complex cardiac procedures and EP studies; respond swiftly to abnormal rhythms and intervene as necessary
- Operate specialized equipment such as mechanical ventilators, IABP, Impella, and ablation devices
- Maintain highest standards of safety, including routine radiation protection and lead apron use
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Texas
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years RN experience, including cardiac cath lab and EP training with hemodynamics
- Proficiency with cardiac rhythms, waveforms, and EPIC charting
- Preferred: Cardiovascular certifications (CVRNII, CCRN, RCIS, RCESE)
- Willingness to work on-call, in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
