This role provides an exceptional opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise through hands-on involvement with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Working alongside talented professionals, youll expand your nursing skills, adapt to innovative leadership approaches, and add specialized experience to your resume that stands out nationwide.
Schedule/Hours
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. (5x8s)
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
Qualifications
- Active RN license in VA or Compact state
- At least 2 years recent experience in Cath Lab circulating and documentation (scrubbing experience highly preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
- EPIC proficiency a must
Responsibilities
- Deliver critical, responsive care for cardiac and vascular patients
- Circulate and document throughout minimally invasive and diagnostic procedures
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient hemodynamics
- Assist during cardiologist-led interventions; manage critical medications
- Educate patients and assess medical history pre-procedure
