Schedule/Hours:
- Assignment-based, full-time hours typical of a Cath Lab setting
- Flexibility for rotating shifts or call as department requires
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (unencumbered and valid for Indiana or compact states)
- Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient assessment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced and changing environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, recognizing and acting rapidly on any complications
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and follow-up care
- Adhere to safety protocols and high-quality standards
