Registered Nurse Cath Lab Opportunity | Forest City, NC
A contract opening for a skilled Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience is available at a Level 3 Trauma hospital located near Forest City, NC. This facility is a 241-licensed bed hospital recognized as a Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center. This role offers the chance to work with advanced technology, including EPIC EMR systems and Alariso IV pumps, within a supportive department led by strong leadership.

Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical and communication skills, specific skills to be discussed during interview
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using EMR (EPIC) for documentation
- Operate IV pumps, medication dispensing systems (Omnicell), and related Cath Lab equipment
- Participate in weekend rotations, call schedules, and holiday coverage as outlined (approx. 75% holiday work)
- Complete a 2-day departmental orientation and facility NEO program
Additional Details:
- Scrub color and specific shift times will be discussed during the interview

- Floating responsibilities to be determined based on unit needs
This assignment is a contract role with scheduling and work expectations reviewed individually. Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles outside the home unit radius to qualify.
