As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you'll work within a department equipped with the latest technology, including EPIC EMR and Maclab Hemodynamic systems, taking a pivotal role in managing complex cardiac patients in a 24/7 STEMI program. With diverse casesranging from diagnostic and interventional procedures to pacemakers and balloon pumpsyoull collaborate closely with experts across critical care, respiratory therapy, and hospitalist teams. The environment encourages teamwork, shared learning, and mutual support, fostering both personal and professional growth as you work alongside seasoned leaders and educators.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekend rotation: Call only
- On-call: 8 am to noon, Saturdays and Sundays (stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions)
- Holiday call required
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably in cath lab or critical care (ED/ICU)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills; willingness to teach and learn
- Experience with cardiac procedures including balloon pumps and temporary pacemakers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostics and interventions
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care in a fast-paced cardiac setting
- Participate in call/rotation, including weekends and holidays
- Maintain detailed charting using EPIC EMR
