Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New York (or compact license eligible)
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and administration of moderate sedation
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac procedures including angioplasties, catheterizations, and pacemaker placements
- Monitor patients vital signs and respond to emergencies with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized patient care
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery
