Job Description
A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Cath Lab is needed to provide exceptional patient care and support critical cardiovascular procedures. This travel nursing opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to work in a dynamic clinical environment focused on cardiac catheterization and related interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and cardiac rhythms before, during, and after interventions
- Administer medications and manage patient care according to established protocols
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety standards
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
