Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am3:30 pm
- Call rotation every 3rd week
- Coverage required every third weekend
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of 12 years of recent experience in a cath lab setting
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification required
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Experience assisting in catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to cardiac patients throughout pre, intra, and post-procedural phases
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care
