Job Description

Advance your career in a dynamic and highly specialized Cardiac Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses seeking hands-on experience with cutting-edge cardiac care and innovative medical technology.

Schedule:

  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Rotating call required

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
  • RCIS and ACLS/BLS certifications mandatory
  • Strong procedural knowledge: right and left heart catheterization, both diagnostic and interventional, as well as peripheral procedures
  • Familiarity with advanced equipment, including GE lab systems, Impella, Balloon Pump, Penumbra, and IVUS
  • EP experience preferred
  • Experience with Merge Hemo documentation system
  • Ability to float for STEMI calls to a sister facility as needed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver critical patient care during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with an expert multidisciplinary team to ensure top outcomes for cardiac patients
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced Cath Lab technology
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation according to hospital protocols
  • Participate in call rotation and respond rapidly to emergent situations
  • Adhere to all established unit guidelines, STEMI protocols, and patient safety standards
