Advance your experience in an innovative Cardiac Cath Lab within a leading multi-campus healthcare system. This contract position involves working within a dynamic team utilizing the latest equipment and technologies to provide exceptional cardiovascular care.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Rotating call required

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• RCIS certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Advanced EP experience is preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations, as well as peripheral interventions
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment, such as GE labs, Impella devices, balloon pumps, Penumbra systems, and IVUS
• Accurately document care using Merge Hemo documentation systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in call rotation, and be prepared to float to a nearby sister hospital for emergent cases (such as STEMI call) if needed
• Maintain a patient load consistent with a 3:1 ratio, ensuring high-quality, individualized care
• Adhere to all department guidelines and hospital policies
