Schedule/Hours:
- 4x9 hour shifts: 07:0016:30, variable days Monday through Friday
- Two on-call shifts per week
- Two weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Coverage for call required during July 4th weekend
In this specialized Cath Lab RN position, you'll collaborate with expert teams and gain firsthand experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures. This assignment allows for significant professional development by exposing you to varied leadership styles and innovative techniques, all while providing a meaningful depth to your resume.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- BLS, ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years recent Cath Lab experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocols
- Manage emergency situations and respond to rapidly changing patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide top-quality patient care
