Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and respond quickly to emergent situations

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, including vital signs and symptoms
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control policies
• Administer medications as ordered and respond to patient needs throughout the procedure
• Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedural care
• Assist with emergency interventions when necessary
