Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Proficiency assisting during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures
- Monitor patient condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Initiate and maintain intravenous lines, administer medications as directed
- Document all patient care activities accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on both pre- and post-procedure care
