Expand your resume by mastering advanced assessment skills, circulating and scrubbing in both diagnostic and interventional cases, and deepening your expertise in pediatric critical care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4x10-hour shifts per week: 7am5:30pm
  • Call required after 1 week orientation: 1215 days per 6-week schedule (including 2 weekends); weekday call 5:307am, weekend call 7am7am

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review patient history, allergies, medications, and consent forms
  • Prepare cath lab rooms, ensuring all medications and emergency equipment are in place
  • Assist in diagnostic, interventional, biopsy, and electrophysiology procedures
  • Circulate and scrub as required, maintaining strict sterile technique
  • Operate point-of-care (POC) testing equipment and administer contrast
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver specialized care to critically ill neonates through adolescents

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid PA state board-approved RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
  • Strong background in pediatric or cardiac critical care (preferred)
  • Proficiency with pediatric congenital heart disease and managing high-acuity patients
