Providing specialized nursing care within a dynamic Cath Lab environment requires precision, expertise, and dedication. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting critical cardiac procedures and patient care with cutting-edge technology and a skilled interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and clinical support staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
- Utilize EMR system (EPIC) and medical devices such as Alariso IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems.
- Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care.
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend rotations, call duties, and holiday work as needed.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience; first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Familiarity with cardiac patient care protocols and catheterization lab equipment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Must meet traveler radius requirement (permanent address at least 50 miles outside home unit).
