Here, you'll operate in a facility with a Level 2 Trauma designation, a residency program, a Chest Pain Center, and a Stroke Centeroffering unparalleled exposure to a diverse patient population and complex cases. Collaborate with experienced clinicians and varied leadership styles, making every day a chance to refine your expertise and strengthen your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4 ten-hour shifts weekly (07:0017:30)
- Weekend rotation (discussed in interview)
- 1 on-call shift/week & 1 weekend on-call every 4th5th weekend (30-minute response time)
- 70% of holidays expected
- 6-week schedule cycle
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
- BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS strongly preferred
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating Cath and EP procedures (LHC, RHC, PTCA, stent), moderate sedation, and critical drip management
- Willingness to float to Prep/Recovery areas as needed
- Comfort with EPIC EMR, BBG, ACT, Balloon Pumps, Impella
- High level of self-motivation and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub for Cath and EP procedures
- Prep and recover patients pre/post procedures, with float coverage
- Administer moderate sedation and manage titrated critical drips
- Support advanced cardiac procedures such as pacemaker/defib placement and ablations
- Participate in departmental and facility orientation and training
