Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 38 hours per week
- On-call rotation covering nights, weekends, and holidays
- Usually on-call one night per week and every 4th5th weekend (dependent on staffing)
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Demonstrated experience working in a Cath Lab setting
- Excellent assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience handling emergency situations and responding appropriately
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor and document patients vital signs, responses, and progress
- Maintain and troubleshoot sophisticated Cath Lab equipment
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures
- Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times
