Schedule/Hours:

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 am5:30 pm)
• Call required after orientation: 1215 days per 6 weeks, including 2 weekends of 24-hour call
• Weekday call hours: 5:30 am7:00 am; Weekend: 7:00 am7:00 am

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, PA state board-approved RN license
• Minimum BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Prior pediatric cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of congenital heart disease and advanced pediatric assessment skills
• Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing roles, maintaining sterile technique

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient records, allergies, medications, and ensure informed consent
• Prepare cath lab rooms with necessary equipment and emergency resources
• Collaborate efficiently with physicians, anesthesia, APPs, and technologists
• Assist in diagnostic, interventional, electrophysiology, and biopsy procedures
• Operate point-of-care testing devices and manage contrast administration
• Swiftly recognize and respond to emergencies, upholding exemplary patient care
