Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a hospital Cath Lab
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking skills; able to respond efficiently in emergent cardiac situations
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and pre/post procedural care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor and assess patients conditions before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications as ordered and assist physicians with invasive procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to Cath Lab protocols and safety measures
- Document all care with accuracy and thoroughness in the electronic health record
