Job Description

Advance your career in a dynamic cardiac environment with this contract opportunity for an experienced RN specializing in Cath Lab nursing. This vital role is tailored for a clinically skilled nurse who is adaptable, prepared to work efficiently within a collaborative team, and confident handling advanced cardiac procedures.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM 4:30 PM

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with LHC-PCI and Structural Heart (ASD/PFO) procedures.
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab environment is required.
  • EP (Electrophysiology) experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment such as GE X-ray, IVUS/FFR-Phillips.
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems.
  • Flexible attitude and a team-oriented mindset.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care across Cath Lab and Electrophysiology unit procedures, including LHC/PCI, TAVR, EP Studies, and Ablations.
  • Monitor and assess patient status during all phases of cardiac interventions.
  • Maintain rigorous infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Communicate efficiently with physicians, team members, and patients to ensure streamlined, patient-focused care.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently in Meditech.
  • Respond to rapidly changing situations with composure and clinical expertise.
