Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Competency in using Cath Lab monitoring equipment and electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care for patients before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare personnel to provide high-quality cardiovascular care
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-procedure care
- Maintain procedural area safety, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control standards
- Document all care and interventions accurately and promptly
