Schedule/Hours:
- 07:00 17:30
- Weekend and night call requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Active NY RN license
- Minimum 2 years experience in a cath lab, procedural, or sedation setting
- Strong competency in patient assessment and monitoring during cardiac interventions
- Able to manage patients under sedation and rapidly identify adverse reactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert assessment, monitoring, and intervention for cardiac procedures, including left/right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS
- Serve as a vital member of the Emergency On-Call (STEMI) Team
- Administer oral and intravenous medications accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care, medication, and procedures
- Manage and document patient consent forms, charting, lab results, and procedural documentation
- Collaborate effectively with the cardiovascular team and other medical staff
