By taking on this role in a high-acuity teaching environment with Level 2 Trauma and residency programs, youll broaden your skill set alongside accomplished teams in both the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology units. Youll gain hands-on experience with advanced cardiac procedures, engage in diverse workplace practices, and learn from strong clinical leadershipan experience that will shine on any resume and foster your professional growth.
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts (07001730)
- Weekend rotation discussed during interview
- Call required: 1 day/week and 1 weekend every 4th5th weekend (30-minute response)
- 70% holiday coverage expected
- Department and facility orientation provided
Role Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS preferred
- Comfortable with scrub and circulate for Cath and EP procedures (prepping, recovery, critical drip management, moderate sedation)
- Familiarity with equipment like EPIC EMR, BBG, ACT, balloon pumps, and Impella
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate, administer moderate sedation, titrate/manage drips
- Prep and recover patients, float to Prep/Recovery area
- Care for a variety of cardiac patient profiles, including chest pain, LHC, RHC, stents, EP procedures
