This role promises exceptional professional growth, working within a busy OR department alongside experienced teams using a wide variety of surgical equipment and procedures. Exposure to diverse casesranging from general and orthopedic to advanced robotics and open-heart surgeriesmeans youll build an impressive skill set and gain insights into a range of procedural protocols and leadership approaches.
Schedule:
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Four 10-hour shifts, MondayFriday, rotating day off)
- Weekend: Weekend call rotation
- Call: Weekday and weekend call required
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience
- Robotics training and vascular/open heart experience (preferred)
- Positive attitude, self-starter, strong attention to detail, adaptable, and proactive
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a variety of surgical cases: general, orthopedic, spine, neuro, GYN, ENT, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open heart
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other team members in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Meet call requirements including weekends and evenings as needed
