As a vital member of the surgical team as an ORT (Operating Room Technician), youll gain valuable experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Nursing - ORT (Operating Room Technician).
  • Previous ORT experience in surgical settings preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff in operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Maintain sterile environments and follow strict infection control protocols.
  • Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for surgery and assisting during procedures.
  • Monitor surgical equipment and anticipate team needs during procedures.
  • Document accurately and maintain patient safety standards throughout all tasks.
