Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Surgical Technologist, providing vital support within a dynamic surgical environment. This assignment offers a 16-week commitment, starting October 26, with guaranteed 40-hour workweeks and a rotating shift schedule.

Key Schedule Details:

• Rotating shifts
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of a Surgical Technology/Operating Room Technician training program
• Valid certification through NBSTSA (Association of Surgical Technologists); candidates without certification must provide documentation of a completed Surgical Technology program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• All licenses and certifications must be active and valid from application through contract end date
• At least two years of consecutive, full-time staff experience working as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated experience in general surgery required

Role Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and nursing staff in the operating room by preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures
• Ensure operating room sterility and patient safety protocols are rigorously followed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Assist with setup and breakdown of surgical suites and facilitate efficient workflow
• Remain adaptable and prepared to float to areas of equal or lesser acuity, as operational needs arise

Additional Notes:

• Compliance requirements must be fully completed at least 10 days prior to contract start
• Requested time off during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days (Wednesday to Wednesday)
• Travelers must be willing to float within their skillset based on operational needs

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
