Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with full-time hours (details provided upon interview)
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (ORT)
- Active WA state license (required)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CVOR or a similar OR tech setting
- Demonstrated skill assisting with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular surgeries
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and manage sterile field
- Operate and monitor surgical equipment and instruments
- Assist in the care, preparation, and handling of surgical specimens
- Contribute to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
