This travel nursing role places you in a dynamic clinical environment, granting exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership styles, essential for building a robust professional skill set. You'll further strengthen your resume, working closely with highly skilled teams and high-acuity cases, including burn and trauma patients.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 6:45 a.m. 7:15 p.m.
  • Includes call, weekends, and holiday shifts
  • No block scheduling

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Current experience as a travel ORT (Operating Room Technician)
  • Proven Level 1 Trauma exposure with a strong performance record
  • High proficiency in core skills as evidenced by skill assessments
  • Previous Burn Unit experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, take call, weekends, and holidays
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure and BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide intraoperative patient care in a Level 1 trauma setting
  • Assist surgical teams with instrumentation, supplies, and setup
  • Work effectively under pressure, especially during trauma and complex burn cases
  • Communicate and collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control procedures
