This travel nursing role places you in a dynamic clinical environment, granting exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership styles, essential for building a robust professional skill set. You'll further strengthen your resume, working closely with highly skilled teams and high-acuity cases, including burn and trauma patients.
Schedule/Hours:
- 6:45 a.m. 7:15 p.m.
- Includes call, weekends, and holiday shifts
- No block scheduling
Required Skills and Experience:
- Current experience as a travel ORT (Operating Room Technician)
- Proven Level 1 Trauma exposure with a strong performance record
- High proficiency in core skills as evidenced by skill assessments
- Previous Burn Unit experience preferred
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, take call, weekends, and holidays
- Active and unrestricted state licensure and BLS/CPR certification
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide intraoperative patient care in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Assist surgical teams with instrumentation, supplies, and setup
- Work effectively under pressure, especially during trauma and complex burn cases
- Communicate and collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control procedures
