A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled professional with a background in Nursing - ORT for a contract assignment. This opportunity is focused on providing critical support in a high-acuity surgical environment, working alongside a dedicated medical team in a fast-paced and challenging setting.

Schedule:

• 6:45 am 7:15 pm shifts
• Includes call, weekends, and holidays
• No block scheduling

Desired Qualifications:

• Current experience with Operating Room Technology (ORT)
• Previous travel assignment experience is required
• Proven skills and comfort in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Strong assessment and technical abilities, with a high proficiency rating
• Burn care experience is highly preferred
• Adaptable to changing conditions and able to respond efficiently during emergencies
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Relevant licensure and certifications up to date

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and staff with operative procedures in compliance with safety and sterile technique standards
• Anticipate and respond quickly to surgical team needs during procedures
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies
• Prepare, handle, and dispose of surgical materials properly
• Support patient safety and infection control protocols
• Contribute to post-operative clean-up and readiness for subsequent cases
• Participate in call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
