Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated experience and training as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Comprehensive knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices
• Proficient in passing instruments and supplies, retracting tissues, and maintaining surgical fields
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current Nursing - ORT credentials and any required certifications (state/national as applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nurses by preparing the operating room for procedures
• Maintain a sterile field throughout all surgical operations
• Pass instruments, supplies, and medications to the surgical team as needed
• Count sponges, instruments, and other materials to ensure patient safety
• Support the setup, break down, and proper care of surgical equipment
• Document services and supplies accurately, supporting regulatory and clinical standards
• Actively participate in intraoperative care for both inpatient and outpatient surgery cases
