Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active Nursing license in good standing
- ORT (Operating Room Technician) certification or substantial, recent OR nursing/ORT experience
- Strong ability to adapt smoothly to new settings and surgical team dynamics
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure operating room situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled perioperative care in collaboration with the surgical team
- Maintain surgical asepsis and support all operating room protocols
- Ensure proper handling of instruments, equipment, and specimens
- Communicate effectively to optimize patient safety and surgical outcomes
- Accurate, timely charting and patient documentation
