This travel assignment provides exposure to a full range of surgical specialties, including vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, and morealongside a dedicated management team and strong peer support. Participate in complex procedures and work with innovative technology such as DaVinci D5 robotics and Cerner EMR, expanding your knowledge and boosting your professional growth. Each case is staffed with 1 RN and 1 tech, ensuring collaboration and a focus on patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation includes: 3 days (6:30AM7:00PM), 4 days (6:30AM5:00PM), 3 days (10:30AM11:00PM)
- 6-week schedule cycle
- Weekend and holiday rotations as needed
- On-call required with a 40-minute response time
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in surgical/OR roles (required for both nursing and tech positions)
- National Certification: BLS (both roles), Certified Surgical Technologist (tech only)
- Circulating experience, Foley catheter, chest tube management, AED use (RN)
- Scrub proficiency in listed surgical cases (Tech)
- Experience with Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, and robotics preferred
- No first-time travelers

- Utilize advanced equipment and EMR systems to ensure top-notch outcomes
- Float as needed to relieve peers during breaks
- Collaborate with doctors, RNs, and surgical techs in a fast-paced environment
