Schedule/Hours:

  • Orientation: 3 days 0630-1900, 4 days 0630-1700, 3 days 1030-2300
  • Weekend rotation: Based on unit needs
  • Call required, with a 40-minute response time

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an OR setting
  • Current BLS certification (CST required for techs)
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or RN license as applicable
  • Proficiency with circulating, Foley catheter, chest tube management, and AED
  • Scrub experience: proficiency in vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, and related specialties
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Robotics (Da Vinci D5) experience a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, effective perioperative patient care as part of a dynamic OR team
  • Support surgical cases including vascular, neuro, ortho, transplant, gyn, and robotics
  • Circulate or scrub as required, utilizing advanced OR technology (Bovie, harmonic, tourniquet, etc.)
  • Relieve fellow staff for breaks as needed
  • Adhere to current safety, sterile technique, and documentation standards
