Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation: 3 days 0630-1900, 4 days 0630-1700, 3 days 1030-2300
- Weekend rotation: Based on unit needs
- Call required, with a 40-minute response time
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an OR setting
- Current BLS certification (CST required for techs)
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or RN license as applicable
- Proficiency with circulating, Foley catheter, chest tube management, and AED
- Scrub experience: proficiency in vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, and related specialties
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Robotics (Da Vinci D5) experience a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective perioperative patient care as part of a dynamic OR team
- Support surgical cases including vascular, neuro, ortho, transplant, gyn, and robotics
- Circulate or scrub as required, utilizing advanced OR technology (Bovie, harmonic, tourniquet, etc.)
- Relieve fellow staff for breaks as needed
- Adhere to current safety, sterile technique, and documentation standards
