This is a prime opportunity for surgical technologists seeking professional growth. Position Details:
- Schedule: Days, 4 x 10-hour shifts (06:3017:00)
- Class/Area: Surg Tech/OR
- Floating: Rotation through all operating rooms
- Call: 34 shifts per 8-week period, including possible weekends
- Orientation: In-person, Monday and Tuesday
- No regular weekends or holidays required
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in ENT, neurosurgery, and surgical oncology/general surgery
- Level I trauma background required
- At least 1.52 years travel experience preferred
- Prefer strong ortho and transplant experience
- Certification: NBSTSA preferred, or minimum 3 years of non-certified surgical tech experience
- AHA BLS certification required
- New graduates not accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the surgeon and OR team in all phases of surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments
- Safely manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Adapt rapidly to changes in surgical schedules, including floating to various ORs
