Expanding your nursing expertise in San Marcos allows you to participate in a variety of procedural specialties, including GI, general surgery, urology, vascular, orthopedics, and robotic surgeries, to name a few. Schedule/Hours:

  • 5 Days, 8 Hours eachchoose from these shifts:
    • 0630-1500 (two available positions, MondayFriday)
    • 1100-1930 (MondayFriday)
    • 1400-2230 (MondayFriday)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or LVN/LPN program required
  • Active BLS certification (AHA)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years experience highly preferred
  • Proficient EPIC user preferred
  • Competence in at least three of the following areas preferred: transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, etc.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist with preoperative patient care and support
  • Maintain aseptic and sterile environments per hospital protocols
  • Scrub and circulate for multiple specialty cases, including GI procedures
  • Transport and position patients according to surgical requirements
  • Set up and maintain operating room, instruments, and supplies
  • Collaborate with surgical teams for seamless case execution
  • Strictly adhere to all patient safety and infection control standards
