Expanding your nursing expertise in San Marcos allows you to participate in a variety of procedural specialties, including GI, general surgery, urology, vascular, orthopedics, and robotic surgeries, to name a few. Schedule/Hours:
- 5 Days, 8 Hours eachchoose from these shifts:
- 0630-1500 (two available positions, MondayFriday)
- 1100-1930 (MondayFriday)
- 1400-2230 (MondayFriday)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or LVN/LPN program required
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
- Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years experience highly preferred
- Proficient EPIC user preferred
- Competence in at least three of the following areas preferred: transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, etc.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with preoperative patient care and support
- Maintain aseptic and sterile environments per hospital protocols
- Scrub and circulate for multiple specialty cases, including GI procedures
- Transport and position patients according to surgical requirements
- Set up and maintain operating room, instruments, and supplies
- Collaborate with surgical teams for seamless case execution
- Strictly adhere to all patient safety and infection control standards
