This contract is well-suited for an experienced CVOR Tech ready to contribute their talent in a dynamic surgical environment. You'll be essential to the operating room, assisting with complex cardiovascular procedures while leveraging the latest technology and working side-by-side with gifted surgeons and medical professionals. Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a CVOR Tech
- Proficient in Operating Room Technology, especially cardiac and vascular procedures
- Active BLS certification required
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
- Adaptable, positive attitude, and eager to work within multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile field for cardiovascular procedures
- Scrub in and assist surgeons during complex operations
- Monitor and ensure the safe and efficient flow of the OR environment
- Collaborate closely with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia providers
- Diligently follow all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
