Step into a crucial role supporting surgical teams and enhancing patient care outcomes. We're seeking an experienced professional skilled in Nursing - ORT and a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in operating room procedures and ensure every patient receives uncompromising care.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Proven experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) nursing
- Up-to-date BLS and additional certifications as required by the field
- Comprehensive understanding of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and surgical protocols
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other staff
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to best practices in patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to each procedures specific needs
- Support the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during surgeries
- Maintain a sterile field and monitor compliance with infection control guidelines
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient progression through cases
- Conduct equipment checks and counts before, during, and after procedures
- Assist in patient positioning, draping, and transport as needed
- Accurately document all pertinent information in patient records

$1,369 - $1,498/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
